What is the NDIS?

The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) is a plan managed by the NDIA (National Disability Insurance Agency) aimed to support a better life for Australians with a significant and permanent disability.

The scheme offers funding from the Commonwealth Government to help with any reasonable or necessary claim.

What does the NDIS fund?

The NDIS can provide all people with a disability with information and connections to services in their communities such as doctors, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as information about what support is provided by each state and territory government.

Funding for NDIS Participants may include; daily personal activities, justified transportation, workplace assistance to help maintain or find employment, therapeutic supports, assistance with household tasks, home environment and lifestyle maintenance, etc.

How do I become an NDIS Participant?

To become an NDIS Participant you must first make sure you are eligible and qualify for the NDIS.

After you have confirmed your eligibility to become an NDIS Participant you must submit an ACCESS REQUEST FORM to the NDIS.
